The English Golf Courses Website says "The 9 Hole Golf Course at Eggborough certainly does upstage many of the other courses in the Yorkshire region as it is exceptionally well looked after and maintained by the tireless efforts of the groundstaff and features a whole array of hazards and tests on each of the unique holes. It is certainly a course to be enjoyed and definitely not underestimated as the penalties for that are severe - after all, who wants a blemished scorecard at the end of their round?"
